See it. Feel it. Learn it.
MotionGrip 360 is a removable silicone sleeve that slips over a tennis racquet handle. Five colour-coded lines sit on the handle's bevels, so beginners can see where their hand goes and coaches can just say “Find F” or “Switch to SV.”
How it works
A tennis handle has eight flat sides, called bevels. MotionGrip 360 puts a thin coloured line on the right bevel for each of the five grips beginners learn. Line up your hand with the colour and you're holding it right.
Continental grip
Serve, volley, overhead and slice.
Eastern backhand
Mainly the one-handed backhand.
Eastern forehand
Flatter forehand drives.
Semi-Western
Topspin forehand for rallying.
Western forehand
Heavy topspin, higher-bouncing shots.
Butt-cap view · right-handed concept
Each line runs along its own bevel, from the top of the handle to the bottom. B sits right next to SV, on the other side from the forehand lineup (F, FS, F+), so moving between grips feels like a small, clear turn of the hand.
Concept layout, right-handed. We're checking exact bevel placement with coaches and an industrial designer during prototyping.
The idea
Bright colour cues on every bevel you need. A quick look tells players exactly where their hand should go.
A light, comfortable, non-slip silicone sleeve. Our raised-marker version will let you find a grip by touch, without looking down.
Simple letters first, technical names later. Players build the right habits early, and coaches spend less time fixing hands.
Who it's for
“Continental” means nothing to a seven-year-old. “Green” does. Kids learn faster when the cue is something they can see.
Picking up tennis, or coming back to it? Lock in a solid grip from day one, and check it yourself between lessons.
Give a whole group one cue at once. “Everyone find SV” works across a full court of beginners.
Prototypes
We're making prototypes of two marker styles and will test them with coaches, kids and adult beginners. What players tell us decides which one we make.
Printed lines that barely change how the grip feels. It's the closest thing to holding a normal racquet.
Very slightly raised lines you can feel with your fingers, so you can find a grip by touch, mid-rally.
We're testing how quickly players find each cue, whether the sleeve stays put, how comfortable it is during real hitting, and how long it lasts.

FAQ
Not yet. MotionGrip 360 is still in development, and we're working on the first physical prototypes now. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know when there's news. We won't take pre-orders until we've tested it properly.
No. The images on this site are concept renders that show the idea. The finished product may look different once we've measured, built and tested real prototypes.
Not at first. We're starting with a right-handed version. The bevel layout is different for left-handers, so a left-handed version needs its own design and testing. It's on our list for later. Tell us you're left-handed when you sign up and we'll keep you posted.
It's designed to go over a standard eight-sided tennis handle. We're starting with one adult grip size and will check fit, length and anti-twist design before we look at more sizes, including junior racquets.
A flexible, skin-safe silicone, white or off-white, with a light non-slip texture. We're testing different wall thicknesses to get the feel right.
We don't know yet, and that's why we're testing both. Players and coaches will try each version, and the results will decide what we make.
Yes, please. Choose “Coach / academy” in the form above and tick the prototype-testing box. Feedback from coaches is the most useful thing we can get right now.
